OSB, PF, rep 1

Oriented Strand Board (OSB)

Description

This experiment is on a system consisting of an Oriented Strand Board (OSB) cladding panel and a Phenolic (PF) foam insulation panel, separated with a cavity of 50 mm width. It is the first repetition of this system configuration.

Experiment Notes

At approximately 8 minutes the OSB panel began to collapse, causing a sudden change in the mass measurements as debris fell into the debris tray, onto both load cells, or off the entire assembly. The Phenolic foam insulation was seen to continue smouldering after the experiment was terminated, requiring extinguishment.
