PLY, PF, rep 1
Plywood
Description
This experiment is on a system consisting of a Plywood cladding panel and a Phenolic (PF) foam insulation panel, separated with a cavity of 50 mm width. It is the first repetition of this system configuration.
Experiment Notes
At approximately 5 minutes the plywood panel began to collapse, causing a sudden change in the mass measurements as debris fell into the debris tray, onto both load cells, or off the entire assembly. At approximately 7 minutes the plywood panel began to touch the insulation panel, affecting the mass measurements. The Phenolic foam insulation was seen to continue smouldering after the experiment was terminated, requiring extinguishment.
